yes, cleaning carpet is a dirty job. I know, cause we just got a carpet steamer, and yes, it is ok to wear jeans. it makes ppl more comfortable to be around u and it more practical. Imagine wearing a button-down shirt, slacks and tie, and then doing the carpet-cleaning job. Not a nice picture, huh? I know, me, either. I like the idea of the jeans, like I said, comfy, practical, and easlily cleaned.

If that's what THEY want....

Lots of jeans, especially darker ones, have lots of dyes that could rub off onto lighter carpets if wet, right? I know I just get blue on my hands from rubbing my jeans when they're dry, but they're darker colors usually.

Maybe a uniform pant, like Dickies or something, that's colorfast, would look professional and keep from accidentally staining someone's light carpet. You know it's ten-year-old carpet until YOU get a blue stain on it, and then it's "practically new" and $30/yard, eh?

Good luck, bro....
