I turned 34 today. How many of you, that have already had a birthday this year, thought you'd be right where you are today? I never thought, in a million years, that I would be married for 14 years with two kids. I'm also a stay-home mom - which is very "anti who I was back then". My kids are 12 and 11 (she turns 11 in two weeks)...I woke up this morning and realized...HOLY CRAP! I'm getting old.

lol hey Beth, I had my birthday in Sept. and I turned 28 I am also a stay home mom! my kids are 7, and 5 (and I have a 2year old and a 5month old that I keep for the state) and I am doing the same thing your doing! I am who I thought I would be!!! I just thought being who I thought I wanted to be would be different and I spend most of my day singing Reba's "Is there life out there" LOL We are not old were well seasoned!!! LOL happy birthday

I am turning 34 in an hour or so. I don't have a problem with my age but I am once again questioning where I am at this age. I am a single mum of 3, never married, at home (trying to run my own business), with a degree that I have never used & I have only achieved a few goals that were on my list. But life has taken me on a different path and I try to enjoy that. I may not be where I planned to be but in the last year it's become quite apparent to me that I am where I am supposed to be; all that I have done up until now will be of us to me in my future endeveavour, which is to run a teaching/healing & community centre.
So maybe as we blow out our candles we can look at it all as an adventure, and hopefully there will be many more to come :)
anyway hope it was a great day.... :) have a great year and spoil yourself :)

You're just like me although I'm a teen girl, because when I trace back the time 10 years ago, I never knew that I would turned out to be someone different today...
And I know that in the future if I'm married and have children I would think like you too...
But never think you are old, instead think you are getting wiser, and have a young heart...

My birthday isn't here yet but it's on Sunday, but I can relate. I don't have any kids or anything but I never would have guessed the life I'm living now 5 years ago that's for sure. But congratulations on your birthday and I hope you have a fantastic day!

Happy Birthday! :) No, I never thought I'd be where I am now. If it wasn't for my children I wouldn't make it. I realized the aging thing when my mom died, then my uncle died and now a very good friend has died. I hate it.
