Love is what we do for each other. It is an active concept. Be it sharing our souls and time, or building a gift. Or fighting against the bitter impulses of one we care about, being the sparing partner for their benefit. punishing you child so they will stay within protected barriers. Love has many faces, and sometimes is invisible to us. But always leaves a clue.
Don't call love an emotion. It doesn't fit. emotions come and go. Love lives in our connection and is active even when our emotions say otherwise.
