Wash it in milk (esp if pigs liver), chop it and make a cream sauce flambé and eat it all with Rösti (say R-URR-SHTEE)

On no account make those horrible hash browns (a criminal desecration of roesti)

bit of oil, fry some onions, put in a touch of salt, and a small glug of red wine. eat with veg.

Make liver and onions, but please do not invite me!!! Fry it all up, and invite your liver-lovin' friends for dinner. Or fry it all up and freeze it.
