ok this is a messed up story. I got really drunk the other night and sort of had sex while on my period. I was so drunk, i cant remember all that happened. I think i sort of passed out, woke up next to him (we'd had sex before) and asked what happened. He said we didnt 'really' have sex because there was no condom, there was blood everywhere and he couldnt get hard (nice). I realized the tampon was no longer in me. I assumed i took it out...but now i'm paranoid! There was still blood coming out which told me, ok maybe it's not in there. It feels like i had sex down there, even if it just went in once. I am seeing him again so i'm asking more, just dont know if hell tell the truth. I have tried searching for the tampon, i dont feel anything but he's big and what if he just really pushed it up there??

I'm also having a really crazy week and dont have time to go to the dr! last week it was car stuff and i had a mole removed, i took time off from work...i really cant go to the dr again this week! I have a huge presentation to give friday!

You have no choice. If you think the tampon is still inside you, then you HAVE to go to the doctor. If you don't, you are putting youself at a huge risk of getting TSS, which can KILL you!

There's only so far it can go. If you can't find one (or even the string) with your finger while pushing down from the inside, there is probably not one there. However, if there IS one there, it is very unsafe to leave it. You may want to consider being checked out.

depends on how drunk you were. you probably took it out. but you should be able to feel it. sit down and push like having a bowel movement and feel in there with fingers and you will know if its in there. or you could douche. might loosen it too

go to the doctor and have them take a "look". if it is up there you can die from it over a certain amount of time or get really really sick or you can mess up "down there" for good.

you have to go to doctor or hospital if you suspect there is a tampon inside you. if left there could be potential fatal as tampons can cause TSS toxic shock syndrome.

Go get checked out, if its still in you are prime candidate for TSS.
