Is there any place on the web where I can order a custom model of a truck just by sending pictures? My boyfriend had a truck for a very long time and did a lot of stuff to it. There's no other truck that looks like it around and he just sold it. I would love to give him a model as a gift. I need some help though!! :)

I know of no such specific site. Though if you were to buy a copy of a model-making magazine such as "Fine-Scale Modeller", there are ALWAYS ads for builders who will do that.

I warn you though, that we typically would charge $250 minimum. We have to hunt down a model of the basic vehicle, THEN make or order all the modified parts.

I've done this as a gift for my brothers (our old family VW bus), and as a business (personalized US Naval Aircraft).

GOOD LUCK though... sounds like a very sweet gift.

You asked this question twice. There seems to be a custom truck service for PR and advertising work. I've put ther URL here:

One additional question though. How small does the model have to be? Or doesn't that matter?

all of them rust whilst they have been pushed around the country for 20 yrs. Secondly, the place has this truck been pushed in the final 20 yrs. I had a 1989 Silverado for 10 years that did no longer have any rust on it to 1999 as quickly as I traded it off. i think of yours have been given into the salted-snowy roads for 20+ wintry climate seasons to get somewhat undesirable rust.
