OMG! That is the FUNNIEST movie I have EVER seen! It was so full of BS lies about pot that I lost count about the inaccuracies. I can't believe that some people actually ever BELIEVED it!

It is funny but sad at the same time. Obviously our government has gotten better at propaganda but some of it is just as blatantly false. Lets take a look at why the movie was made. The government perceived a threat to the status quo - marijuana. In order to neutralize that threat, the government sought to demonize the object and those who were associated with it. Sound familiar?

Yes, I did. If I remember right, Marjorie Mame played Ma Kettle but I am not sure. Used to catch some of these in re-runs as a kid. Right alongside of the" Bowery Boys"and a few other great ones from that time, like " Henry Aldrich". Also watched the series of "Tugboat Annie" and I am pretty sure THAT was played by Marjorie mame.

There is a newer version of this cult classic: Reefer Madness the Musical. And if you loved Reefer Madness, you will certainly enjoy Cocaine Fiends (if you can find a copy, that is).

I saw it for the first time in the early '60s, 25 years after it was made. ILMAO. It is one of the films I watch from time to time for a good laugh.

It was hilarious twenty years ago. I can't believe they still show it. It must have a cult following, like 'Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.'
