Western music has to some varying extent adopted all other music, and the same certainly cannot be said of any other musical culture(s).

Eye contact is expected, particularly in business situations, as traits such as trustworthiness and honesty are assigned to direct eye contact.

Weseterns may equate reliance on leadership direction with lack of initiative, which is a sure career-killer in today's competitive environment. Those who stand up and take the initiative are those who are considered to demonstrate natural leadership abilities.

Culture is fairly subjective and saying that one is superior to others is a rather like comparing paintings, in the end it comes down to personal preference.

Not sure that I'd classify music notation as part of culture.

Personaly I think that the Americans aer all just a rather large bunch of big mouthed, big headed,war mungering, over spoken, egotistic, bullying, nation that I have had the misfortune to know the exsistance of.
