yes..by my boss at work in front a bunch of people when i reported to a new place and i wrote down the message wrong. she basically called me whatever came to mind and let everyone else in the building know it, why? (because i wrote a message wrong & i had just started working there a couple days ago to boot)...i was sooooo pissed off at this woman. i can't even put into words how much i was upset.

Sadly, yes! I was announcing the results of an event at a horse show, and announced the wrong entries as the winners. I had to go around to the 4 people who were awarded the prizes and take them back - I was so embarrassed!

Yeah but I don't see it as humiliation if, for example I fall down and people laugh. I usually laugh with them.
