it has a big impact. In the 30's and 40's it was the radio, then the tv, then soaps, then then further it was the vcr, then dvd, and internet, and it has a big impact on daily life.Without it, even if it were just books, it would be dull to live without entertainment. Even the early greeks and romans had entertainment. the coleseum, was the thing back in the day.
