Of course he is. To have 34 HR in back to back seasons, and not many people to talk about you is amazing. He is the top LF in the game.

Hmm, i assume we get to paintings out first hand regardless of if Holliday replaced ideal right into a created from Coors or no longer. With giving up their #a million prospect and a couple of others i ask your self no count if or no longer they're making plans on attempting to maintain Matt for next season or if he's in effortless words a house for now. Cardinals are stable in spite of the actuality that, and if Holliday proves to be greater useful than a created from Coors they're in a appropriate place. probably this might push my Brewers to get shifting on getting a pitcher (Halliday!!!!)

I disagree, Kevin. Grady Sizemore plays in Cleveland and no one knew him until the playoffs or if you played fantasy baseball during the regular season. And as good as Holliday is, does he give full throttle 110% effort on every play regardless of score, winning or losing, the way Sizemore does? How many people even knew of Cleveland's players? To think any of them get more air play than Holliday is really stretching it.

I don't believe he is underrated in the outfield. He is one of a large group of good defensive outfielders but in no way could he be considered an elite defensive player.

Ummm....I haven't really watched him play all that much, other than this postseason, but judging by that ball he misjudged in that one game playoff, I'd say no. That was a little league mistake. Great hitter though!

I don't think so. I'll agree he doesn't get as much of the spotlight because he plays in Colorado, but people who know baseball know how good he is.

he was, until now. i doubt he'll stay here in Colorado much longer. he's good, and most likely money will draw him to another team. (Johnny Damon ring a bell?) At least we have him for a while longer!!
