Hi. I wanted to see whether people think wrestling with friends is gay, and were you are from. I ask this because of my friend,
So I was in my friends playing Smackdown vs Raw and I beat his him using the Batista Bomb. He said that you have to be super strong to do that move, and I said that I bet I could lift him up, as I am about 200 pounds and he is about 120. So I said to him I'll try and do it on him, an he started saying no, saying that only 'queers' do wrestling moves on each other and that wrestling is gay.
I just wanted to know whether people act like that where you live. I am from the UK, and virtually NOBODY from my town watches wrestling, and most people my age find it 'gay'.
So do you think wrestling with a friend is gay, where are you from, and what are peoples opinions of it where you are from

You don't state your age, but I wrestled with my brother and our buddies all the way through High School (generally after watching wrestling on TV). Being "queer" with each other was the farthest thing from our minds. We were just healthy kids, psyched up, engaged in healthy competition. Most of the time we wrestled on the front lawn, and never were we called "queer"; passersby knew what we were doing. It was a lot of fun.
Oh, and this was back in the late-60's and 70's before everything got "gay".

Like the majority everyone else's answers, wrestling is gay only if you get 'excited' and if you wrestle naked.
I think it great that you wrestle with your friends. I think is it very fun. Just don’t hit each other with florescent light bulbs. What I mean is don’t do any of the backyard wrestling you see on youtube.

if you are over 20 it is weird can u imagine your kid if u have one comming up to you while u have your friend ready for a last ride he or she would think eww my daddy is smelling dick but if u are under 20 like me it is okay specialy in pools mini pools are perfect for spearing
ps. if u want to wrestle so much go to the wwe and try out and if u make it u wont be lonely

Im from Pakistan. k n i dont think its gay as long as ur not,lol
if ur doin it for fun than thats totally fine,n may b ur friend was kinda afraid of gettin hurt thats y he may have said that or may b british think its queer
where i live its not at all gay .

I'm from Oz, If your wrestling naked in mud with your friends it could be construed as gay.

hey yo star for you,in my country lebanon a few people watch wrestling but mostly then they say IT IS ONLY FOR LITTLE KIDS,WRESTLING WITH FRIENDS IS COOL,BUT HERE THEY FINED IT STUPID BECAUSE THEY THINK WRESTLING IS FOR KIDS.
