As an Englishman who owns many major US based companies I feel I am in a position to ask this.As a frequent user of this site I have to say I am appalled at the way it has become a tool for people to spurt absolute bollox about themselves.I used to use this site to conduct market research for my many US based companies, but many of my replies came from Americans falsely claiming to be business people.
Please can we business magnates have out old Yahoo answers back?

I'm amazed you can find the time as a big business magnate to be on here continually. You dont say what kind of business you have but it must give you a lot of free time to use one of your phrases spurt absolute bollocks spelt the British way.

sorry mate you can't. That is called shlockolution, you may not have heard about this new-age concept. After all magnates - internetic or not - specially those of olde worlde british lineage, go around in ther Bentleys or Rollers and never mix with the commoners, so often need to be brought up to speed.
Shlockolution is an evolutive process which started this millenium, in which things evolve for the worst. Good things turn to schlock. Think about your favourite newspaper or magazine, isn't it more crappier these days?
Well man, yahoo answer is evolving and getting worse as a result.
This may have also to do with as the site gets more popular, it stops being an elitist thing and becomes more a reflexion of what you see in the streets. But oh, I forgot, you go around in your Bentley so what would you know?

As a retired successful American business owner, I feel I am in a position to say this. I would never use this site to conduct market research for any of my products or businesses. There are much more efficient and productive ways of doing market research than on Yahoo Answers. And the expenses for doing so are usually tax deductible.
Hey! But what do I know? I'm just a retired former successful American business owner...retired at 45. :-)

I too own many companies,our company meetings no longer use yahoo answers as a reliable tool in our business, we ask a question about world trade and some imbecile wants to know if they`re pregnant, do these morons know that theyre playing into the hands of our enemies, as the crow flies.

I tend to agree with you, but don't you think you should take the rough with the smooth like we all have to. Our country really is not made up of all business types you could say from the sublimed to the ridiculous when it comes to people and I think that answers ca tors for all. and you take what you want from it. I did not look to see if there was a business section, but why not suggest it. It might also be an idea if those who might want to spout rubbish also had their own sight so that the rest of us could enjoy what reilly's a good idea
