People are buying charr carvings at 15-20g each, when there worth about 3-5g each. I hear its for Halloween. What is there worth during this halloween speacial? How long will speacial last? What are they worth after? Anything else that I can trade for Holloween? Is this only for Prophicies or other chapters to? What about other holidays?

15-20g is kinda low. The Charr carvings, ornate grawl necklaces, stone summit badges, orr emblems and other low end collectables will be used during the Halloween and Wintersday celebrations. People are stocking up on them now.
During the holidays you can use these items to trade for Halloween and Christmas goodies. Alcohol and candy canes as well as holiday party items like tonics and snowman summoners will be available then.
My advice is to start farming these items now. You can go into the low end ascalon areas and start killing stuff quick and easy. Keep all the collectable drops you get in storage.
