In comparison to a power shower?

With no offense meant at all to you or others; I truly don't know.

For one thing I'd never bother with the added expense/plumbing and electrical issues; beyond the fact that I still pretty much understand that water and electricty don't mix well.

Beyond, beyond that; there are usual shower heads that seem to force water to a point where it stings to stand under it. I own one; and a usual PSI for in house water is approx. 28; and if the plumbing is in good shape that's plenty.

Obviously these types are well HYPED; and a bit trendy perhaps; and might work well in a situation where you have water exiting heads over and around ones body; even intermittently; but in my opinion it seems a bit much.

Just one mans opinion. Obviously too; is the general purpose of a shower. Certainly some levels of relaxation, and modest massage quality; but HOT Water; and some method of ridding ones body of soil; seems to still be the popularly accepted cause for taking a shower.

Electricity must be cheap in GB. Over here in the US (yes, sorry about our foreign policy), heating electrically costs about 3 times as much as using natural gas or fuel oil. Why? Because electric generating stations are only about 33% efficient converting fossil fuel to electricity, whereas my boiler at home is about 90% efficient at turning fuel into heat.

Where does the other 67% energy go in a power plant, you ask? Up the stack as "waste" heat.
