First off the world, Earth, is not a prefect round sphere.
Apparently a round shaped works, after all planets, moons and suns are all generally round.

Like everywhere to be found in nature. A basic physics sentence. The law of the least resistence.
Our planet uses up the least surface energy by choosing the form of a sphere. Due to magnetism from the sun and the earth itself it is egg shaped though.

because naturally occuring things e.g. the earth, apples, oraanges
are round
the only natural things that arent round are have been eroded or evolved e.g. rocks and pears

You know what I find more interesting.
What if the world was triangle, we'd find that odd also. Why not round? haha i dunno how to answer that. Maybe something to do with weather, govt, God, or aliens.
