I heard his indictment on the lib-enabling media contributing
to causing harm to our troops in Iraq! Proof of what we have

If you are talking about the major TV network news and cable news, no. If you are talking about the the few major media corporations that control most of the information that Americans receive about the world, no.
HOWEVER... the internet HAS made it easier to find more trustworthy news sources.

I have never believed the mainstream media, especially when they were consistently drumming up support for the conquest of Iraq without questioning the "facts" they were being fed by "sources". They were totally fooled by the cons in charge. Seems to me that while you are questioning the factuality of media reports you are using an ideological filter to try and make it appear that the so called lib media is holding back info that favors the cons. That's simply not what's happening, please open both eyes.

But to answer your question about Honest reporting, I am going to have to say No, and it isn't the liberals fault. Ever sense deregulation by the FCC, Big corperations like fox, GE, Westinghouse, and disney own most of the channels your watch. All the ad's and news coverage you see are obviously going to fit into their agendas. They wouldn't spend billions of dollars unless they are getting something out of it.
