Rumour has it that the leaks are coming from the McCann camp (CM has a lot of journo friends) in an attempt to discredit the big one when it comes.

What are your feelings on this and if you think it is not true please can you give your reasons?

Yep, I'm with you on that - but you know what they say one death is a tragedy, a million is a statistic. That certainly holds true in this case.

What do you mean the big one? a big leak? About what?

I am sure that yes the McCanns are preparing themselves for the worst possible scenario. One where they have to go to court to prove their innocence. BUT I don't think that is likely.

Surely you can't believe that their are dozens if not hundreds of people involved in a cover up involving the death of an innocent child... There's no way on this earth that anyone is covering for the McCanns. Not after all this time.

Its true, Snaffle.
i do think that there have been leaks from both camps.
Its a vicious circle now.
Leaks from the PJ into the media will be countered by leaks from the McCann camp discrediting the PJ.
A taste of their own medicine, so to speak.

I think the leaks are on purpose so at a later trial, if there ever is one, their top notch lawyer will push for and say that they will not receive a fair trial due to trial by media.

In another respect as well, if they were convicted and there were other people involved, would they grass them up as well, or take the punishment.

"Rumour has it" ...say no more

Edit - Hi Snaffle....it's neither a "yes" nor "no" from me. From an Australian perspective I have a hard time getting my head around the media frenzy the disappearance of this little girl has caused, considering the hundreds of other children that go missing globally on a daily basis. I think it is a case of public voyeurism more than anything......although this should not detract from the fact that a little girl is gone without a trace

Edit - very true Snaf, very true

I think it is going to be one of the great unanswered questions of the 21st century - "What happened to Madeliene McCann?" No-one knows. And YES I do think it is possible but that doesn't necessarily mean it DID happen.

the canns are definitely manipulating the media, and trying to hide behind the 'the paper lies', 'PJ is corrupt' etc etc
