Answers to this question can come from different angles. Depends on the situation really.

If the girl falls for a guy for who he really is, not knowing his financial status, then I'd say, it could be true love or that their love relationship is romantic as you asked it.

But as others put it, there are also a lot of gold diggers out there.

There are also situations where in at first, one could be after the money, and then falls head over heels for that person, in this case love develops between the two, and for me, a love that is "developed" through time, is strong foundation for a relationship. Getting off on a wrong foot is harder though, because other envious people will always think that she or he is just there for the money.

Ambitious? 50/50. Again, depends on the case.

I do agree with you. This situation often is called the ideal marriage. Sometimes it also happens in our life. I have met a couple at milionairematch.com. The man is rich, and the girl is poor. But they have a memorable story about their love. The man has helped the girl to recover from a serious ill. Then their relationship blossomed into love.

Agree on the romantic question.

Disagree on the ambitious one. If I agree on the man poor, girl rich thing, then I wont have chance to court the ladies of the Rockefeller clans, the DuPonts, the Rothschilds, the Mellons, the .... Could you just imagine how disappointed these girls would be not to have known me?

If sincerity, absence of greed and loyalty are present, why not? With a proper family upbringing she should make a great wife and make the relationship last. Love a person for his character, ability and personality but never for how deep his pockets are. The greatest danger is to be overwhelmed by riches and not knowing when to stop in the pursuit of wealth. That would be a 'tragedy'.

True love knows no boundaries. However there are some that are just gold diggers that are either sex and true love or love doesn't mean anything really to them except the love of money. A person should be loved for themself not what they have or can offer.Good luck, best wishes.

money has no role to play in love.love is blind.love will remain eternally while money will finish one day.now if the girl love the boy just for money or vice versa then i fully accept its very ambitious.

I think isn't necessary romantic because the poor girl may only want the rich man's money. When he dies, she'll leave him.

nowadays you can never really tell... coz there are more failed relationships because of financial constraints...

it is always acceptable for a girl to fall for a rich guy because in our society and culture, men dominate and they are the provider. however, we also find men ensuring their stability so they chase rich women...

ive known a man who chased me coz i come from a town known to be populated by rich people. from his words, i already realized what he was up to. and when he realized that our family is from among the middle class, he made a 180 degrees turn and returned to his rich ex girlfriend... get what i mean? i already figured that out when he kept on telling me to buy things or go out of town (payments from my own pocket) so im really thankful to God that He made that man realize im not rich... and i was just too grateful he did coz i didnt know how to tell him to his face to go back to where he came from...

Love knows no fiscal price. Love only knows trust and forgiveness.

Social class is irrelevant. Common dreams and agreement on family values is ALL you need.
