This oracle often pipes up with just about the most politically correct and absolutely straight right on answers - sometimes not even to questions (which REALLY SHOULD NOT BE POSTED IN A QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS SITE) - but that does not stop her.
Any chance to feel superior to anyone of a lessor (and that is just about everyone according to her) intellect - and she is up on that soap box of hers telling us all how it should be done.
Wouldn't you just love to book her for your next party?

What annoys me is how she polices this site and tells us all how it should be done and how we are doing it all wrong (if I have read her words 'its all in the guidelines' once - I've read them ....... once, I didn't bother after that!).

INTHEDARK: NOBODY is in 'my sights' - I am making an observation. As you say - I have not said that the lady in question is in the wrong - this is my opinion and I am opening it up for comments - many of which agree with me. Thank you for your opinion. Can you say "bite me?" Let's call it a day & get to answering some real questions from real people about real issues. I never cared about points & I still don't. I just saw your question and I have to say I would never want to be this way. I thought I was the only one wondering about some responses I've seen. I wondered what was so wrong in one's world that they would blast every type question asked.
I noticed in one question where a dear warrior of ours was being berated for a type-o, the 'answerer' made one herself, she spelled 'golden' as 'goldren'. I also saw yesterday that the 'answerer' response called us liars, something that does not endear one to me. I am not a liar!!!
On another question, the 'answerer' called others 'control freaks', but it seems more like they are trying to control everyone. Life is hard enough without getting this type treatment on here time and again. I have done all I know to be kind to everyone here, but behavior like this really gets old even to me.

Maybe the lady(?) in question used to be a Magistrate or a Traffic Warden - they're such sticklers for rules n regulations too! Hope you feel better now you've got that off your chest. Wow izzy, when you are right , you are right. To be quite honest, when I see negative answers of the kind you mention, I just pass on by because they are the type of people that have no one else to listen to their diatribes ,so they try it on here . I have enough things in my life to upset me without looking for more . I too awoke to a violation of my question that I spent a lot of time working on last night and it didn't even get to the posting. I seldom can come up with an interesting question and when I do BAM, gone. I think I'll just rely on the rest of you and hope I can come up with a sensible answer.

I got here late this morning.
Usually I just overlook her post.
I don't think people get this is mostly fun and souldn't take it so seriously.
It would be so much easier for them to go to a different forum then to lecture how we should get along, which is why I liked it here , Everyone here is in fun mode. It's a nice escape from the real world that kinda gets me down and this is a nice escape.

and grumpy, and the stuff she is putting on them are giving her illusions of grandeur.

I too have been feeling the same. Much like being back in Catholic high school and knowing that the "Prefect of Discipline" was always hovering around and just waiting for a chance to remind us of the rules and regulations. Lord, such pleasure and delight she derived in pointing out our faults!
