I have a 1968 Plymouth Road Runner (383 with matching numbers) and am curious as to its value. The car is in good condition and has been taken well care of. It's not a show car and was a daily driver during the summer for the past 20 years.

Depending on the condition of the vehicle, it could be worth a good amount of money. Gold book lists that car as worth $12,500 in fair condition, and $22,00 in good condition.

They define those terms as follows:

GOOD - Well maintained original or an earlier restoration showing normal wear and aging, presentable, drivable, complete and fully functional. Most "nice" cars are in this category.

FAIR - Essentially complete and functional. Missing no major parts. Suitable for restoration. Paint, chrome and bodywork showing age. Minor body or chassis rust. Drives, but engine, brakes, transmission not perfect.

You would have to adjust for any rust or substandard body repairs of course.

The 383 parts are fairly easy to locate, to rebuild etc. I have tossed out 383 short blocks in the past as they were not very desireable. The rest of the body parts , interior, suspension etc are more expensive and harder to obtain.
