He is a war hero to the communist in VietNam...his picture along with that anti war traitor Jane Fonda hangs in a place of prominence in their War Hero Museaum.

The self promoting moron claims 3 Purple Hearts in less than 3 months in Nam..none of which required hospitalization is a disgrace to all wounded vets....

I have skivies that served longer in Nam than Hanoi John Kerry.

Here is a picture of him with another phony..

Kerry is a career opportunist. His marriages to ultra wealthy women (who didn't earn their own money), his ultra liberal voting record and his exploitation of his phony military service show his lack of character.

However, the only standards Kerry has to meet are ones set by liberals and socialists. The requirements for proper military service for a liberal is to be able to prove you were enlisted. If you did something negative towards the USA, in the name of the advancement of socialism, makes you a hero to liberals.

It's like beating your head against the wall to argue with a liberal about Kerry's military past. Liberals don't value hard work, achievement, accountability, honor or patriotism; they only honor the support of their corrupt causes. To a liberal, who hates the military and loathes what a real hero would do for their country (not them self), Kerry actually has made them proud.

Well, he got a splinter when he shot a grenade too close to his boat for a purple heart. He and a dozen sailors from two swift boats chased down a Viet Cong soldier who shot at their boats after violating standing orders and beaching their boats to do so. He did order his crew to shoot at an obvious fishing vessel resulting in the death of a man, a boy, and a baby when all others simply stopped the boats that violated curfew. While still an officer in the Naval Reserve, FBI surveillance notes has him meeting in Paris with the head of the Viet Cong. He simply gamed the system. He's a hero in his mind anyway.

Were you intentionally trying to be ironic in the way you worded this question? BTW, the Swiftboat veterans were a group created by the Republicans and Karl Rove. They didn't exist before the 2004 elections. Look it up. It's been well documented.

My Grandfather, a WWII veteran - received two purple hearts... Died in 1986.

He had no problem knocking out former MN Viking QB Tommy Kramer when he mouthed off in a VFW in Mankato, MN during spring training...

At age 63...

And I'm sure he's rolling over in his grave anytime John 'pretend' Kerry spouts off nonsense about being a war hero.

Not until after he died did we find out what he did in the war. He picked up the dead.

Kerry can't even pick up his own shyt.

Isn't he the one who shot himself and got a purple heart?
As much of a Hatriot that ever lived. Shows you that the Liberals are only interested in the destruction of our beloved country, and Kerry will lead the way.

He came home with two purple hearts, and they have never been successfully challenged.

Like him or not, you have to give him the benefit of the doubt that he earned them. That makes him a war hero.

Now the bad news:

I have a copy of his book, "The New Soldier", published in 1971. It is nothing but a litany of false accusations against other war heros. Not a single claim in the book has been validated, and the book is an embarrassing collection of claims by bald-faced liars.

John Kerry lost his war hero status, by my estimation. Heros don't lie for political gain.

And he met with them while still on active duty. For those who believe he's a hero, explain why he refuses to release his records. He's promised to do it but, Sandy Berger promised to take a polygraph too. That's why dems are unelectible, they can't keep a promise.
