I hadn't seen the film till last week (dnt ask me why) and it was fantastic...
what the Americans did to those Red Indians was appalling...they should be ashamed of themselves...( I would say it on the same par as to what Hitler did to the Jews...)
On a lighter note...that Japanese Lady Tom Cruise lives with was totally gorgous...

i saw this film for the first time a couple of months ago as well, was at my parents and had nothing else to watch, i couldnt believe how good it was
i normally shy away from the blockbusters but i loved this film, the story, the actors and the set ect, i was really moved by it and learned quite a bit too
normally cant stand cruise, but thot he pulled it off quite well for a munchkin
couldnt stop raving about it to everyone afterwards, we need more history films like this dipicting true history and not some false americans idea of history :oP

I f-ing LOVE Studio 60!!! Matthew Perry is EXCELLENT in his role! I didn't watch Heroes because the subject didn't really appeal to me at all but I've heard it's great. And I'm REALLY excited for "Friday Night Lights" - I think it premieres next Tuesday I 've always liked NBC a great deal as well, but I'm really into Grey's Anatomy so I'm an ABC fan too.

yes it was amazing. my favorite part is when he threw the sword like spear to save his friend.
they are not red Indians. they were tan natives with too many nations to just lump them into one category. racially they were Asian Caucasian mix. they aren't Indians because Columbus was stupid. and don't call them red because it brings up crap about how their scalps were cut off in order for bounty hunters to get their money, why redskins is offensive.
there is nothing we can do about the past. all we can do is learn from it and not do it again.
if we hadn't of stopped killing them only the Aryan Nazis would exist now. Navajo code talkers wouldn't have existed anymore when we needed them to save the world.

Yup. It was a very good movie.
Which is why I don't understand why everyone keeps attacking Tom Cruise when he clearly makes such excellent movies.

omg i am actually just about to finish watching that movie, how wierd is that?......well i think its wierd, but i HATE tom cruise which is kind of killing it for me! also i think in the first fight with the samurai the don't make the samurai look as lethal as they actually were, and i think tom cruise learns to quickly its underestimates the true dicipline and work it takes to be samurai, but the movie is pretty good!

Great movie! But why should I be ashamed of myself for something that happened before I was even born?

it is good. It was very touching when the leader, Katsumoto, died and all the soldiers kneeled down to respect their opponent's death
As for those Americans, well...what's goes around, comes around.
