Is it a good idea to keep posting the same question every two hours (only for about 24 hours) in order to find out which part of the day (or night) Y!A gets the most crowded?

Yes, it sounds like a good idea if you're willing to lose the points.( that would hurt me!) However you might want to make it every 4 or 6 hours instead. As mentioned someone with to much time on their hands may decide to report you. Also it'd be nice if, you do posts the results that you, mention the most and least active times with the time and time zone rather, then "day" or "night". :)........Though it's not particularly healthy to stay up for 24 hours hovering around the computer....

It won't give you an accurate result, if your question was posted in the top of the page then it will get more answers, and vice versa.

I wouldn't advise it--choosing a Best Answer would get complicated, fast, with multiple Answers spread across how many posts? That is, if you didn't get reported first.
