You become a singer by singing all over the place, and if you are good, people ask you to come sing at this event or that and you can start charging for it. You become an actor by acting in plays, and if you are good you will find ways to move on to a career. But it sounds as though you are mediocre at best. To become a cinema director you have to go to film school and learn how.

I could say that no longer each actor can or must end up a director. Similarly no longer each director could wish to discover appearing additionally. It isn't unfaithful to mention that each actors and administrators have an appreciation of the inventive standards of movies, how one can inform a tale by way of the monitor, no longer everybody can specific it good. Therefore, i could say that most effective actors who've the requsite abilities and inventive expression required of a director must check out their hand at directing. Otherwise, they're greater off being directed. I am no longer partial to Stephen Chow, or Jack Neo. Although i do suppose that Jack contributes plenty to accentuating the Singaporean stipulations/tradition by way of his movie to the global group. As for Jay Chou's "Secret" i cannot remark as i have not watched it but, however i could say that headquartered on my knowledge of MTVs that had been directed through him, it should not be too dangerous?

you might want to set priorities here, i personally never seen a singer who went on to acting and who got taken seriously too. If you want to become one of them top-notch moviestars, you might want to skip singing, keep it for later when you're established as an actor.... About acting, it's often a numbers game, unless you're really good and know people in high places. Keep in mind that having the right contacts goes a long way, remain positive and show your passion and if that doesn't work beg like Jean Claude Vandamme did... :-)

Anything is possible. Remember that.

You're still young and clearly have a lot of opportunity ahead of you.
Enroll yourself in some acting classes, film classes, voice classes, etc.
Getting a good education is important so stay in school.
Just work at it. Try your best. Get involved in whatever you can and make connections.
Networking! Its all about networking!
PLUS you say you have the talent so just go for it.
