Yes the baby is legit, but if you married a US Citizen DO NOT REPORT BIRTH ABROAD as he will go to Jail.

I am from the Philippines and the answer is YES. You see, the birth certificate is the legal document which will prove among other things whether a baby is born in or out of wedlock. In your case, the baby certainly was born when you were married so there you go.

Congratulations!

Assuming that your marriage was valid, that is, you complied with all its requisites under Philippine laws, specifically the Family Code, then your child is legit. The reckoning point of legitimacy here is the time of birth of the child, not the time he/she was conceived. Besides, your valid marriage would've cured any legal defect as to the child's status.

In the UK a child becomes legitimate when the parents marry, and if this happens before the birth is registered the child's record is unaffected. I would be surprised if the law was much different anywhere else.

I don't know anything about Phillipine law, but if you were married a minute before the child was born, then your child was born to married parents.

a 'legit' child is one 'born in wedlock', so yes, if you are married before the child is born, its not a b**tard.

ps..i had my son at 17, good luck!
