Make peace with yourself first...A huge help is to remember to
"Seek first to Understand"..Have compassion for the whole situation. Understand what's happening , and the problem is 90% solved.
Take a hot soak, meditate, quiet the mind..be nice to yourself...Remember.."I cannot give you what I do not have", so don't expect it frtom others. Cultivate the laws of attraction
within yourself, and you will attract the right people and events!

Get involved in some physical activity--any kind which requires your concentration and strength--run a race(alone against your own self), football, basketball, or just throw stones with an aim, chop wood, anything. The point is to distract your mind to such an extent that you tire out and have a good sleep. I am sure you will wake up feeling refreshed and your own cheerful self. This break in the vicious circle will help you review the whole situation from a new angle and approach your friends to sort out the matters more amicably...Good luck.

When I once went through an extremely difficult time in my life, I discovered something entirely by chance which I would like to share. It fits the purpose perfectly, and stops the inner conversations.
This is how it works:
Make up a sentence which takes you straight out of this world, and into a sphere way beyond this one.
Mine goes like this:
"In reality, you are standing on the cliffs in Devon, in the evening sun, throwing rocks into the ocean. And dinner will soon be served."
I don't know about you, but this sentence puts me right into a reverberating serenity and brings tears of longing and relief to my eyes. It puts me right immediately, and for a pretty long time.
Then, repeat.

The only way I have found to stop these thoughts is to actually have the conversations with those who you need to talk to.
You need not be angry when you speak to them, just be honest and show your hurt.
I use to hold everything inside and never have restitution.
If these people are truly your friends they will listen.
I now think about what has happened, then I rethink it through the life of my friends. You will come to better understanding as to why, if you know what is going on in their lives.
Once you open up I guarantee you will not be stressed regarding these situations.

Ray down, close your eyes, listen to soft music, in dark room with candle lit... I know how you feel. I get the same problems some times, but, I've been trying this simply thing whenever I get really stressed out, it works, and ease my mind. Hope it'll work for you, too.

have the angry conversations with them. no matter what, then your heart will be at peace, i think you feel like you are betraying yourself when you let things slide. so don't let it slide. people surround you, you can make more friends. maybe they'll fall and your feet and apologize profusely.
