I'm not talking about those who just make fun of anime lightly, I'm talking about those hard-headed, hardcore haters who have nothing to do with their life but piss other people off cuz it makes them feel so big. The ones who are so hard-headed that they won't leave fans alone.

That's why I don't really mind you much ^^
But you should know that there really are awful anti-anime bullies out there who wanna destroy anime and make sure nobody else watches. They go through the most ridiculous lengths to look for anime just so they could bash it. They're just mentally disturbed psycho bullies who don't have anything else to do with their life besides hate stuff.
I've seen videos of them on YouTube and they really are horrible people. I'm not even sure if they're human...

If I had the powers of an anime character, I would have the powers of a goddess and just get rid of those bullies' mouths and vocal cords!
Hannah Barbera is one of those posters on YA that I just do not care for. I'm sorry, but I do NOT find his negative comments regarding anime humorous. They are trite, blunt in an insulting way and serve no purpose on this board EXCEPT to start a verbal war. What is the point of doing all of that unless you somehow get off on it. If you want to be humorous and funny, go and join a comedy club and you can make fun of anime, fans, the culture and just go at it!

But that's exactly why they make fun of it-- because the anime lovers wish that they had those powers, and wish they could get revenge on the bullies, because they know the anime lovers are helpless.
Too many anime lovers who are bullied are obsessed with it, and wish and dream that it was real, kind of like what you are saying, if they really had powers.
The bullies do not bother the proportionate, reasonable anime fans who enjoy it and are able to let it go and leave when they want to and go on with their real lives. They leave those fans alone.
They are not trying to be bullies. It is like putting a catatonic patient into a steam bath to get him to admit to himself that he is not really paralyzed and is only using it as an excuse not to deal with reality. When anime fans stop calling it bullying, they will be ready to rejoin the realy world once more.
These so-called 'bullies' are your friends. (I'm NOT talking about people who hit you...!)
They care about you. Otherwise, they would just leave to rot in your fantasy, and you would be useless to yourself any everybody else. I'm sorry, but it's true. They care enough about you to try to help you and you try to turn it around and say poor me! why won't they stop picking on me!
Anime is the spice of life, but not life itself. There must be a real life for anime to be added to. If anime and/or anime fans encourage people to feel sorry for themselves instead of getting out there and living, it is as bad as heroin or cocaine.

I make fun of it...some anime fans are too sensitive about it and take my jokes way too seriously. They think, for some reason, that when I make fun of anime that I'm personally attacking them...which is not the case.
The funny thing is, about half of the anime I've watched I liked. When I make fun...it's just that...fun.
I have viewed, studied and written about the Hanna-Barbera cartoons, they are a huge part of my life...but when someone makes fun of them (poor animation, the backgrounds that run on and on forever, Scooby and Shaggy were stoners....etc....etc...) I'm the first one there making jokes right along with them...why? Because it's only a hobby, it's not my entire life.
I think it would be cool if you and others had powers...as long as you used the powers for good and not for evil.

Good grief, I'm a fan of Sister Princess and I feel like stealing your lunch money! Ignore them, they either have no idea what anime is or they are scared of something they don't understand.
What do you have to prove to them? Are they worth the effort?

lol cute question! ^^ I'd open 8 gates, bind them with mangekyo sharingan and then hit all the tenketsus and then slash them with rasengan and chidori and lee's whirlpool then I'd take zanpakutoh..bankai! and then..>:) but if seriously, I'd just punch them on mouth or ignore at all, they're not worth of anime powers ><

YEAH!! well I wouldknow because my classmates are like that when it comes to anime!
I'd like to use Mori's (law of ueki) power (mind control) against them! and then I'd threaten them with my zanpakutou! If they don't stop, i'll use rasengan against them!! maybe they'll stop bullying haha

powers?! who needs special powers when i can have kenshin himura's reverse blade sword...it'd be so easy to shut them up.. btw, seriously, i'd rather ignore them..but if push comes to shove, i'd seriously fight them, as long as they're the ones who initiated the fight..don't want to land in the guidance office..it sucks..
