Rebuild the government from scratch.
Especially the parts concerning corporations.

How about a law that prevents U.S. politicians from winning Nobel prizes and such? It seems that these people are the ones who stir up the most international trouble, yet get first consideration by prize committees.
Even better...Let's outlaw peace prize committees. They're probably influenced by politicians any way.

To quit letting judges make decisions for kids (no matter what age) and let them speak up and tell who they want to live with in custody battles as long as both parents are fit. Kids know and remember alot more then we think they do. Judges too often think they know what is in the best interest of the child. Not true! If a child can speak and understand enough to know which parent they are closest to, that is the best interest of the child. I have seen so many children live a miserable life due to some judges decision. The judge never lived with that child and does not really know anything except the lies being tossed around a courtroom. I feel this law should apply to every state.

The Stupid Tax:
Stupid actions will be fined according to severity. Smart Cops patrol the streets, places of business, and can be called for domestic issues.
This is not one of my ideas, but borrowed from a friend. I felt it deserved a mention.
My idea of a law that needs passed:
Judge Reform.
Judges will be required to drop all political affiliations. Judges are to attend a conference twice a year for continued education. More judges and additional courtrooms to help ease the burden and to assist in ensuring a speedy trial.

Well, their passing a law this january were someone smoking in a car with a passenger under 18 will be cited for "child endangerment"...which is fine with me, i have no idea why people smoke...it has to be the stupidest thing to do...

H.R. 1359 Would be a good start."Enumerated Powers Act - Requires each Act of Congress to contain a concise and definite statement of the constitutional authority relied upon for the enactment of each portion of that Act. Declares that failure to comply with this requirement shall give rise to a point of order in either chamber of Congress. "
3/6/2007 Referred to House committee. Status: Referred to the Committee on the Judiciary, and in addition to the Committee on Rules, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
I wonder how long they will keep this one buried? It's a good one to call your Congressman about. This bill would stop about 99 percent of the baloney that spews forth from the Congress.
How about this one?
Service to the Veteran shall be the highest priority to this nation, behind the national defense. Failure of a federal employee, assigned to such task, to provide immediate and fullest service to a Veteran in regards to medical or other legislated benefits shall be grounds for dismissal from employment. Or even better, we could display moron's head on a pike in front of the Capitol Building. Capital punishment can be useful in cases like this.

I have one thing I'd like to see passed, but it's a lot bigger than a simple law. I would like to see an amendment to the Constitution abolishing the Electoral College. It's outdated and unnecessary.

One saying that they (1) make me emperor for life and (2) quit their jobs.
Next I bring in a team of doctors, engineers, economists, artists, scientists, and farmers.
We've had for a long time the wherewithal to feed, clothe, house, and heal everyone here..but never have found the will.
Then we actually start solving problems for real.
