After Dolly left in 1974 they didn't HAVE an actual cast replacement, just guests. The show finished in 1979 after 15 years.

Nobody replaced Dolly after she left him
as one of the previous answers, i dont think it was the Porter
Waggoner show either, it was the Grand Old Opry that they sang on together as a duo . and there were a lot more artists that made regular appearences each week on the show

I'm wanting to say Connie Smith, but it wasn't her. She did have blonde hair though, I remember. Maybe it was Sammi Smith. Must be gettin' Sometimers er sumpthin'.
