Murali is a chucker though. Hair did have the integrity to call it and stand by his decision there, despite huge pressure from the subcontinent. His ability to stand his ground on the subcontinent surely counts for something, particularly where corruption and match fixing is rife.

Nobody stopped Billy Doctrove from umpiring, did they? So I would say Darrel Hair should be allowed to continue.
On the flip side, if he's not allowed, then Billy Doctrove's got to be fired as well.

Since he has become controversial umpire and as ICC have banned him from umpiring international matches, I do not think they should revoke the ban and allow him to umpire the matches again.
