Do what you think is right. It depends on the situation, if there is flirting involved, then you could just give him your number. whether he calls or not doesnt matter because you will have taken the leap and feel better for doing something instead of the "What if?" Thoughts. So go for gold. And don't forget that there are plenty of fish in the sea!

I'd wait till he asks.
You don't want to appear
to be easy. Let him ask for it.
If he shows a lot of interest
or if he's the super shy type,
you could write it down &
just say something like,
"just in case, you need to talk..."
And leave it at that.
This way he has the #
& you don't appear in the wrong way.

I would wait as I am older and that is the way we did things, but since you are probably younger than me, my daughter-in-law gave my son her number and address and also invited him on their first date. They ended up getting married to my misery!!!
