I received a contract online that needs to be signed. Do I just write type my name on it and send it back or print it out and hand sign it and send it back???? Ever done this before. It's in regards to some of my writing being published.

Thanx

You can type your name or print it first, But the most important thing is your handwritten signature. Usually a contract have a line for printed or type signature and the other for your signature. But if it is one line asking for your signature, then you must sign it handwritten in your signature. As far as it being a scam it depends on how much personal information they are asking for. You can check with the Better Business Bureau as far as the company being legitimate

Before signing ANYTHING you receive on line, BE SURE IT IS LEGITIMATE. Real publisher will almost NEVER send you a contract on line. They will deliver it by US MAIL or messenger with a copy for yourself for a HANDWRITTEN SIGNATURE. This MAY be a scam. Check it carefully.
