thats why they made it, so people like us think "oh cool" and buy it...... I buy it and my kids play with it too, but continue to ask for it in the grocery store. go figure

Actually it depends how parents or a parent discipline their child or children into eating certain kinds of foods that the parent(s) buy for them. To me, playing with food is something I don't tolerate at all. Managing your food to something like cutting in small pieces or taking off the skin from a cooked chicken is necessary. Eating time isn't playing time. Eating time is something to replenish one's hunger.

Yes it does. But what's wrong with playing with food? My cousin spills her spaghetti sauce on paper and draws out smiley faces with her finger. It's fun but oh, what a mess!!
