can cleaning the inside of your vagina to good by taking alot of the mucus out affect your chances in getting?

I realize that I do that in the shower daily and my last doctors visit the doctor said I was kinda dry even though it's not like that durning sex.

I instantly go up in there and start cleaning mucus out to try to avoid any type of smells in there. Am I making my chances of getting preganant worst off?

if your ttc its probably best not to do that...just clean the out side...........

cervical mucus that is discharged during ovulations is there to help you conceive, it is a more liquid texture to help the sperm travel more easily into the cervix so they can then swim to the fallopian tubes. you should not be cleaning out your vagina daily, all of the mucus and bacteria that are there are there to serve a purpose and there should be no offensive odors coming from a healthy vagina.

When you have sex, if you are trying to get pregnant I wouldn't personally advise you wash THAT much if that is what you are doing. You want to give the little swimmers a chance to be able to swim up there and do some fertilizing if you are trying to get pregnant. They live for up to three days so if you are washing right away you are probably decreasing your chances of conception

It depends on how obsessive you are. If your doctor said it was a little dry, try not to clean sooo much. A little moisture is normal and it doesn't smell as long as you're healthy. Here's an idea, try to not do it for a few weeks and see if you get pregnant.

You can actually remove all of the good bacteria and cause yourself to smell if you wash too much.

This is bad, DONT do it!!!! It cleans itself, it stops infections and what your doing can cause them, get in the bath if you feel 'dirty', good luck and keep fingers out!!!!
