I have found people born at the same time of year often share certain personality traits and my friends' birthdays tend to be certain months, rather than spread throughout the year.
I believe a book was written claiming the position of the sun and the planets effects the unborn child as it develops, which could be a plausible explanation.

in some ways itz true .. it is just mathematics ... if u belive mathematics related to our daily life and everything is related to maths ... then you would belive astrology ...
BUT TODAY ONLY A VERY LESS NUMBER OF EXPERTS ARE THERE TO HANDLE ASTROLOGY ... SO DONT FALL IN THE WRONG HANDS ...
I BELIVE IN ASTROLOGY BUT NOT THE ASTROLOGER(in today's world)

I have found it to be very accurate. You have to have a full natal horoscope though, you can't just go by someone's 'sun' sign.
My horoscope describes me with 90% accuracy. That is not a simple feat!

it seems to be. i resisted it at first, but a friend of mine took a class in it and i became more convinced. i'm careful about which horoscopes i read though-- i usually go to astrocentre.co.uk and it seems fairly reliable. i don't make major life decisions by it, but it seems to help occasionally; and i can pick out certain people's sun signs sometimes, and knowing someone's sign can help to understand them better, it seems.
