I miss watching Spiderman cartoons with my kids! Or Captain Planet (he's a hero!) Or Inspector Gadget, Fraggle Rock (not exactly a cartoon but it has the same feel.) I miss watching Garfield and Friends with them, and The Muppet Babies, Eureka's Castle (Face from Nick Jr. was so cool!) Who could forget Secret World Of The Gnomes or David the Gnome-- with his fox Swift? I loved what the narrator said, "Look around you. There are many things to see, that some would say could never be. These things I know. It's true and I will tell you so. They are there to see, if you believe. Trolls and wizards and fairy kings, birds that talk and fish that sing. And if your heart is true, then you will find them, too. In every wish and dream and happy home, you will find a kingdom of the Gnomes." How cool is that?
We loved The Real Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Beetlejuice, Bobby's World, Life With Louie, and of course Winnie the Pooh!
I miss The Peanuts Gang from my own childhood. They are ever my favs.
I also miss Looney Tunes and the old Tom and Jerry. You know the ones? When Tom didn't have to talk to be funny, but he did sing, "Is you is or is you ain't my baby?" And remember the little French mouse with so much energy and bravado!? I used to have such fun watching those cartoons with my dad! And my sister could do a crazy version of the song "Crambone!"
I miss Dungeon's and Dragons and The Littles from Saturday mornings. The Herculoids rocked! I miss Wheelie and the Chopper Bunch, Godzilla and Godzookie, Johnny Quest, Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, Smurfs. These aren't cartoons, but in the same manner I miss Sigmond the Sea Monster and The Muppet Show. The Muppet Show was also so much fun to watch with my dad!
Thanks for taking me back... and back... and back. lol

You named some great ones. I especially miss Bugs Bunny (Looney Tunes). The cartoons you named had something going for them-- they were funny.

I really miss grape ape, hong kong phooey, the old johnny quest, you know, the type of cartoons you gotta look up on The Boomerang Network, that's connected to Cartoon Network. Alot of the cartoons today are so anime, I really don't like them. Don't forget your flintstones, original scooby doo where are you?!, etc.!
