Only one time... I was 10. I gave him 20 dollars, my spending money for our trip to San Fransico. (My parents were upset; but I felt good.) I've since learned better. Such as...
My boyfriend, Dean was on his firetruck and they were going out to eat- the captain saw a homeless person and said "Get a job." Which was rude I think... well, the bum said, "I have a job I make more money on this corner then you do." And one time my father offered a landscaping job (just some help for the day.) to a bum, said "hop in the back of the truck, we'll pay you and feed you lunch." In refrence to his sign that said, will work for food, he said, "No, I don't need to work."
So... just that one time.
You prob. didn't want all that information. :)

Yes, I have a couple times. But I never will again.
The couple times I did it, they went straight to the store and bought beer.
I would be glad to give them so food, a blanket, or something... But no more money.
