Was there any difference between Locke's influences on the French Revolution and the American Revolution? If so what were they?

No difference really. Locke felt that there was a social contract between the people and their government and the people had the right to rebel and change the government if it was not serving the needs of the majority. Locke's ideas were used as justification for both revolutions.
