I lived in Buckley, WA for 11 years (1992-2003)...visited Enumclaw (and the surrounding areas) almost daily. I never saw the mounds you mention, but I have seen some pretty weird stuff...esp. in Carbonato...seems there once (long, long ago) was a large mine there that collapsed, killing many mine workers trapped inside...when you walk past there (esp. at night) you can hear some pretty eerie sounds coming out of mine shafts there..some say the shafts are so deep if you throw a rock into them you'll never hear it hit the bottom ..it's spooky. There's also talk of a devil-worshiping cult that operates in that area...seen down the river banks in Wilkeson, so I've been told. Lots of "haunted" houses, too in that general area. I used to live in one. If you look up the history of that area, there were lots of Indian vs. settler wars in the Buckley-Enumclaw area...some say that this is why there's so much "paranormal" activity there. On my street, there were three haunted houses...houses where there were lots of unexplained events and noises...(my house, and the two houses directly across from mine.) Before I moved away, my next door neighbor found (while digging up their backyard) two horses buried there....probably dating back from the battles between settlers and Indians.

Also, several people have seen ufo's over Buckley and Bonneylake in 2003...I was one of them...more than one time, too. Eerie.

Also, Ted Bundy and the Green River killer both dumped their victim's bodies (and body parts) in the woods along Hwy. 410, and in the nearby hills...spooky.

Also, did you know that Enumclaw was in the news awhile back for a raid being done on a large barn/horse ranch, where people were videotaped having sex with horses? Apparently this was a somewhat "thriving business" until they got busted. Eww....

Bonneylake (which is nearby) is the "meth" capital of Washington...and has the highest auto theft rate in the state, as well.

Some say that the whole area (Bonneylake, Buckley, Enumclaw, etc.) is a "twilight zone"....after spending much time there myself, I kind of believe it.

I don't know what the mounds were that you found...but it's interesting!

i remember the animal sex house episode. the one guy was brought to the hospital with an apparent wound to the anus, and the security camera caught the license plate of the car the other guy was driving and that's how they discovered the animal house. chickens, horses, alpacas, dogs, all were raped.
