advantage is not working for my pet?

i used advantage on them 2 weeks ago. today i combed them with a flea comb and saw 1 flea on one of my cats and ALOT of eggs on my other one.

is the advantage working? how come there are still eggs and fleas on them.

i have noticed they stoped itching tho...

There will be two reasons for this:

1) You didn't get the Advantage completely on the dog's skin (it mustn't go on the fur or it won't work)

2) You need to treat your house- very important, because this is where fleas live and breed.

Flea eggs are microscopic, so I would think it was flea DIRT (poo) you saw on your cat - looks like black specks.

I think it will take a while longer before the fleas are completely gone (I think when you first start using it your house is still infested). Give it another week or two and keep using it. I think if you use the advantage once a month you'll find that they don't get fleas anymore.
