yes, too many times to count. i don't want to be emailed daily asking personal questions. those get really annoying. when i try to detour them then they get pissed at me which makes me feel bad. now, i have online friends to disappoint. i already disappoint enough people in my real life and i don't need anymore. oh well, they were jerks and i'm not going to let them get me down anymore.

Yes, several I was involved with in a league on Pogo.com. They lived for starting trouble and some of their loyal sheeple loved to follow it and join in. It was the most childish thing I have seen a bunch of 30 somethings do in my life.

I have met jerks in MMOs plenty of times - it's not exactly difficult to stumble across them, especially in pick-up groups. I have also met good players who were easy to get along with, both male and female. You clearly wanted to vent and you've done that, but it would be silly to try to make any kind of assumption based on your negative experience with one gamer.
