I moved from home a week after I graduated highschool to about 3 hours away from home. I moved in with a guy I had met on the internet and lived with him for a year and a half before we broke up.
I then moved closer to home (this time about an hour and a half away.)
I'm graduating in 7 months with my Bachelor's in Psychology.
I have no idea what to do with myself.
I am not in a serious relationship, I feel like I can't live without being close to my family.
I have no goals, no ambitions, no clue!
Please give me something.. some hope... some clues.. something...

Ok, I should have been more clear. Of course, I am going to get a job, that's not even a question...

travel. there's a reason why so many people do it. grab a friend or go solo. i don't mean go somewhere for a week or two, i mean save up, get a working visa and live and work abroad for a while. stay at hostels. you will meet people that will forever impact you. it is the most important thing anyone can do if they have no "relationship" ties at home. your family will be there when you get back. My boyfriend went to thailand and australia for 6 months when he was in his early 20's and he's thirty now and still talks about it being the best time of his life. He tried new things and sampled new culture and is a better man because of it. I have another friend who became a travel agent so she could see the world and right now she's in peru hiking the inca trail. she's lived in england, rode camels in egypt and swam in the Nile. She is happy and a free spirit but has ambitions and goals here at home too. I absolutely say this is what you need to do before you get tied down with a job, boyfriend and or husband and family.

( by the way i met my boyfriend online and i moved in a year ago and we're still rockin! there's nothing wrong with meeting ppl online these days)

OMG! You been in college almost four years and u dont kno what to do. Well, even though u have 7 months till graduation go to www.craigslist.com and find ur city then for some internships in the job category of ur degree or just look into sum jobs in that category to see what they hav to offer. www.craigslist.com is a great website that has good job listing depending if u live in a big city or not. i'm a college student myself.craigslist.com has alot to offer besides jobs too. check em out

Hi Rend,
First, promise yourself no more guys from the internet--meet real people. Meeting people online: bad idea.

GO back to school--you need a master's to be a counselor. Why not do that? Then you can help others. Figure out what kind of counselor you do best--get an internship.

Or maybe you can get an assistanship and get a reduced tuition or stipend? Live near your family and go back to school!

What about that?
This might be a clue.

Hmmm, seems psychology didn't help. But as you already know, no one can set goals for you.
