What's the best RAM for a HP Pavilion dv6000? It already has 2 slots with 512MB of memory in each.?

I am trying to run a 3D Graphics program called 3D Canvas, but when I try to make things more detailed, it takes longer to complete each process, and not just for the one program but for the whole computer. I know I just need a better memory card so my computer can process more information at a time, but my question is, what's the best RAM for my computer.

Vista eats alot of system resources, and to be able to get the most in your laptop, you need to add more memory on it. It will be fine to add any amount to the remaining banks. Just make sure they are of equal or greater speed to the RAM that is already in there.

if your gonna be gaming, i'd say get the Cosair brand 1G or 2G. its great gaming memory if your on a budget.
