I have no idea how to get this computer to work in normal mode ..... it only lets me start up in safe mode . When I try to start it in normal mode windows doesnt load and the computer just restarts on its own. Any ideas?

If it had worked without problems before, use system restore to get it back to a point where you could start it up. If you're using XP or Vista you can use system restore from safe mode. There was probably an installation somewhere along the way that messed things up.

secure mode basically shall we completely secure classes run on your computing device, with out understanding in basically a splash greater component what problems you're experiencing with the entire mode then i can't rather answer your queries concerning the working of the entire mode. i could propose working a pair greater virus scans because of the fact this does sound like the paintings of a few thing malicious.

Did you install something recently?
Have you tried System Restore in Safe Mode?
(Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\System Tools)
Right-click 'My Computer', select 'Manage'
Go to 'System Tools\Event Viewer\System'
Look for error messages around the times when you have tried to boot the machine normally and see if it tells you anything?

Most likely drivers problem, try removing the hardware drivers one at a time in safe mode.
