like for an assignment in class next week, we're doing an "on demand Autobiographical writing" so, what does on demand mean in this case?

It means you have to provide something when asked for it. I would assume that in this case that means that someday in class your teacher is going to say, "Take out a sheet of paper and write an autobiographical essay. You have 35 minutes. Turn it in before you leave at the end of the period."

When you get an assignment in a class you should ask the teacher to explain anything you don't understand. How can you do an assignment if you don't know what is being asked for? Unless your teacher is visiting Yahoo! Answers there is no one here who knows exactly what your teacher wants or exactly what your teacher meant by 'on demand'.

Also known as 'Cash Advance', where you can use your credit card to get cash out from an ATM (hole in the wall). Be careful though as credit card companies usually charge a fee for this, I know my credit card charges 50p/£10 fee + a higher interest rate. It's also worth noting that when paying your credit card the cash advance is the last to be paid.

Demand is the relationship between the various possible prices of a product and the quantities of that product consumers are willing to purchase.

It means "when needed" or "when requested." In your example, your teacher may or may not ask you to write an autobiography next week. That depends on his/her mood...so keep him/her in a good mood. Always. Or at least until next week.
