first of all, im a freshman. all my classes are fine but my drama class. i feel that my drama teacher is unjust and he pays special attention to certain students. he praises good looking students more and gives them more stage presence. i want to be an actress when i grow up and he's practically threatening my chances because he's not giving me opportunities to go on stage. when he does call upon me to go on stage, his only reaction afterwards is 'okay'. i feel that i have a growing talent but the next student with as much talent as me gets special treatments; the good looking ones are praised and encouraged. i feet distraught and discouraged. i really dislike my teacher. btw, my parents are also discouraging me of becoming an actress. i feel that the world doesn't want me to act. everyone's going against me. should i start a new slip at a new school?

and btw, i don't want to talk it out with this teacher because he's impossible.

dont feel like everyones against you, because they're not. theres so many people in your shoes too, like me!! just stick it out and when you become a famous actress, your turdy teacher will wish that he paid more attention to you.

good luck, budd. :]]

Look for drama classes at your local park district or a local live theater group.
I did a google search for drama classes in my city and had several pages to look over.
Don't give up if this is your dream. This particular teacher may not see the potential you have, but that doesn't mean it isn't there!
And stay at your school. The rest is fine so you need to find an outside source to fulfill your drama class needs.

Don't run from your problem. I would just show them that I can act a billion times better than them. I would maybe go over the teachers head and talk to the principal. He/She may be able to have a talk with him and watch him. They all will be jealous when they see you on T.V. Then who will have the last laugh, you!!:)(:

i'm a nerd in that i admire studying and school, yet i'm no longer the stereotypical "geek" with thick glasses that no-one likes. by potential of ways, i think of "nerd" and "geek" could be separate because of the fact they each and each have entirely diverse connotations.
