Australia is such a professional side that no matter how much they win, they are always hungry for more. That takes tremendous amount of motivation and commitment.
While Indians are happy to win once in a blue moon. Indian team is not looking to beat the Australians. T-20 is enough for the coming months.

Australia is the best and No. 1 cricket team in the world and they have retained the No. 1 ranking for quite some time now. They have also won the cricket world cup 3 times inn a row, which no other team in the world has done. India is ranked far below in the ODI and as such it will be too much for anyboldy to expect India to win a series against Australia.
When they play such a strong team like Australia there are bound to be failures.
