Hi there,

Alright, I got my encyclopedia here and checked WWII info.

Here's some info on USSR's participation on the war:
"Invaded Poland - Sept. 17, 1939

Invaded Finland - Nov. 30, 1939

Concluded peace with Finland - March 12, 1940

Invaded by Germany and Romania - June 22, 1941

Declared war on Bulgaria - Sept. 5, 1944

Invaded Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, and Hungary in 1944, and Austria, Czechoslovakia, and Germany in 1945

Declared war on Japan - Aug. 8, 1945"

I believe that the answer could also be 8. That would be Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Austria, Czechoslovakia, and Germany
