I'm not a Giuliani supporter; however, I do not believe the issue of abortion will be as key in this next election due to recent Supreme Court appointments and gains in States' Rights supporters. Giuliani's position on illegal immigration and the national id are more troubling to me.

Like a lead balloon. The far right, which is practically all that is left of the Republican Party, thanks to this administration, has been busting their humps to thwart abortion, stem cell research, gay marriage, all in the name of "family values".
They will not see that, while Giuliani's personal beliefs may oppose abortion, it is still a woman's choice and right, guaranteed by the law....even if you are just a poor woman.
What does it matter anyway? The Republican party has yet to provide a candidate that can command any swing votes, or even one that can woo back the dissenting Republicans that have been lost in the last 8 years.
